Rising Tides: Rising Challenge

We filled the Maverick MBTA station and Neighborhood Community Health Center in East Boston with Sandy-level flood waters during November and December 2013. Working with Neighborhood of Affordable Housing’s (NOAH) Chris Marchi, their teen workforce, and children in an after-school program, we created window art that showed where the water would have been if Sandy had hit at high tide. ¬†We helped design materials for the companion storm preparedness exhibit by NOAH on November 13th, created with Greenovate Boston, the MBTA, WGBH and Boston Department of Health. Many Thanks to Jude Griffin, our event poet!
